Spring is a popular framework for building enterprise applications. This course will teach you the basics of Spring framework and is required for learning any advanced topics such as Spring Data, AOP, Transaction Management, Security etc.
Java Collections Framework is not a feature of Java, but as it is called, is a framework. Collection framework in Java provides a set of readily usable efficient implementations for commonly used data structures and algorithms. A basic understanding of the data constructs like arrays, String, linked list, stack, queue and trees, and concepts like hashing, will help you understand collections better.
This course will quickly take you thgouht the basic Data Structures and Sorting Techniques. This course assumes familiarity with Java programming language. Else look for the Java and Data Structures combo course. This is a crash course. If you want a detailed course, please look for the problem solving course with data structures.
This course will teach you to use transaction and also different data access methods using Spring. We will see Spring JDBC template, JPA and Spring Data. The course assumes that you are already familiar with Spring basics, JDBC and has a decent idea about HIbernate.
Hibernate is a popular framework for building enterprise applications. JPA is a specification and Hibernate also implements JPA. We will learn Hibernate and will be using JPA specific annotations whenever possible.
This course will look into most of the new features in Java 8 like additions to interfaces, functions, lamda expressions, Streams and other new APIs and features. This course assumes that you already have good knowledge of Java 7 basics.
